Today Indonesian authorities announced the arrest of Abu Dujanah, leader of the terrorist group Jemaah al Islamiya.
The UK's Foreign Secretary, Margaret Beckett said; "I welcome the announcement by the Indonesian authorities that they have Abu Dujana in custody. He has long been suspected of masterminding a truly atrocious terrorist campaign in which so many people have been maimed or killed. Jemaah al Islamiyah's attacks in Bali, in which British nationals were targeted amongst others, affected so many lives, and continue to do so. "We are grateful to the Indonesian Authorities for their continued efforts to bring the perpetrators of such attacks to justice." |
