BISfaculty and The Chief Officers' Network, sister companies of The Financial Crime Forum will hold Mergers and Acquisitions in the Financial Serviced Industry in Hong Kong on 2 and 3 October 2007 in Hong Kong.
Mergers and Takeovers in the Financial Services Industry  Date: 2007 October 2 - 3 The Financial Sector is alive with takeover battles ranging from global giants to boutique operations. Literally thousands of deals have been done in the past ten years, some driven by the bidder's desire to grow, some driven by the target's financial problems and some driven by regulatory pressures, especially in countries with many banks, making the sector difficult to regulate. As we see the pressures of globalisation on the one hand, and the defence of domestic financial industries on the other, cross-border deals are becoming both more common and more complex.
